It is not too often that I stop by here on a Sunday, but then this Screenshot Sunday idea popped into my head (I’m sure this is actually nothing new and I am just behind the times) and well, naturally, it needs to be posted on Sunday. It would be a bit strange if I shared Screenshot Sunday on a Monday, don’tcha think?
So what is Screenshot Sunday? This little concept is something that I want to try out every few Sundays as a way to share my favorite screenshots from my iPhone for the previous couple of weeks. Since Instagram is my favorite social media app, I get tons of meal idea inspiration from other grammers. Of course the easiest way for me to keep track of these meal/snack ideas and recipes is to snap a quick screenshot and then go about my merry way. Then when I get around to meal planning for the coming week, I can browse through my iPhone pictures if I get stuck or lack inspiration. It works out pretty darn well and always keeps my meals fresh and exciting! There is nothing better than actually being able to look forward to the food you eat each week (especially when on a pretty restrictive diet).
I am going to begin this series by sharing some of my favorite screenshots from November, December, and the beginning of January. I hope to get at least one of these posted per month so that things do not get too crazy backed up in my phone. I hope doing so will also encourage me to make and eat these recipes instead of just saving them (like I often do on Pinterest). Without further ado, let’s get to screenshotting! <– Someday that word will be added to the dictionary, I just know it!
