Oh, what a weekend it was! Once I make it back to Nebraska this afternoon, I will have driven a total of 12 hours, seen every single one of my best friends (including my BFF who lives in Arizona now), went to two rodeo performances, camped outside two nights, ate tons of delicious (and not-so-healthy) food, and drank more beers than I can count. Now if that does not sound like a great weekend to you, then I’m not sure what you are thinking! 😉
I am writing this up on Sunday evening and I still have several hours of family, boyfriend, and puppy dog time ahead of me, so I am going to let the pictures do most of the talking.
Drinks with my college besties, Stacy and Amanda. It felt good to be back in our old stomping grounds.
This would be a container of rice that my phone sat in all weekend after I dropped it in water. This is also the reason why I have been rather absent on Instagram lately.
Jeremy and me before heading to the Tristate Rodeo on Friday night.
Our sleeping digs for Friday and Saturday night. I am not much of a camping kind of girl, but I can even do this with an air mattress.
There is nothing better than the silver bullet.
Ashley and me at the Lee Brice concert. Easton Corbin played on Saturday night and he was my favorite.
Vegetarian eats for Friday and Saturday evening.
I could not say no to carrot cake.
Jeremy shared this sour with me. It was mighty tasty!
As you can see, it was a wonderful weekend. To say that I am not thrilled Monday is here would be an understatement. Let’s hope this is a quick and fast week!
